Hi! I’m

Candace Legault

Registered Provisional Psychologist, CCTS-I

I transitioned to psychology after a career in the corporate world in oil and gas for over a decade.

I lived in a state of burnout and didn’t understand why I couldn’t focus, sleep and enjoy basic things in life.

In 2018, I was in a car accident that left me with a chronic back injury. Fast forward to today, I support those that are burnt out, stressed, anxious, working either in the corporate world, as a first responder or frontline workers, and dealing with chronic pain becuase these are close to my heart.

When I’m not at work, I spend my downtime at home with my partner (who is in healthcare) and an entourage of cats, all while watching reality TV (Housewives, Bachelorette, The Challenge… you name it) after a days work. I aim to incorporate movement into my days but also love a good cuddle puddle on the couch.

I go to therapy too, because nobody truly has it figured out.

When I read, I indulge in psychological thrillers and gather more knowledge about my profession - why not add a dash of seriousness to my life? I love coffee, and am having a hard time accepting that it’s not helpful for my anxiety and that I don’t need it. I’m an animal lover, with a soft spot for cats, horses, and pandas.. because who doesn’t appreciate a creature that’s a mischeivous, walking marshmallow?

I am not everyone’s cup of tea, but if we are going to work together, it’s important that we fit. I offer a 45 minute complimentary consultation to new clients where we really get to test the waters.

A mental health therapist and human with anxious tendencies helping others reconnect with themselves and make meaning of their existence.
